"Barack Obama ain't got sh*t on me!"

Denzel Washington thinks Obama and McCain are undermining the severity of underfunding children at risk. He believes children are our future and that we must teach them well and let them lead the way.

To compensate, he's written an op-ed advocating for a more proverbial solution:

"In partnership with government, schools, community leaders and parents, we can create a network and culture in which everyone embraces the importance of a positive future for our youth."

Washington's commentary is fresh and bipartisan until it reads as a donor letter for his beloved Boys and Girls Club. Which isn't entirely off the point. And it also proves the actor isn't above special interest. Wouldn't this kind of self-serving nobility matched with a true celebrity charisma manifest the ultimate black elected official?

The Shit Between has been reluctant to endorse either presidential candidate. Both talk big change, but inspire little. A viable path to recovery, stability, and growth has gone unaddressed.

Until now.

Let's demand a leader that doesn't promise hope, but is hope. Let's follow a teacher that leads by example. Let's look to a protector of country, but more importantly to a defender of peace. Let's elect Denzel Washington as the next President of the United States of America.

Say it with me, Washington in Washington! Washington in Washington! Washington in Washington!
