A new conservation group, Tappening, is promoting the benefits of tap water with an aggressive advertising mix coinciding in states where John McCain and Barack Obama campaign. The first ads read, "McCain And Obama Have A Drinking Problem. Bottled Water." and "Bottled Water Is A Major Environmental Issue. Why Isn't It One Of Theirs?".
The group says the ads are meant to engage the candidates, not attack them.
If the point is to draw attention to the issue, I've two catchy slogans. "Tap Water Like You Tap That Ass" or "You Don't Bottle Ass". Less threatening and to the point, wouldn't you agree.
