The Backbone

Hip Hop DJs are a different breed of musician. The goods ones spend hours upon hours locked in their bedroom in front of two turntables perfecting the mix. The great ones, days. And the grand masters, entire lives. Doug Pray's Scratch, is a love note to the culture of spinning records back and forth and forth and back. It legitimizes the DJ as an artist. Recommended viewing. Especially if you don't think so. One of it's subjects, Roc Raida, educates on the basics of 'bodytricks' above.
