Sad news. Atomic Records in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is closing its doors for good in February. For those of you who still value physical media and prefer not to buy music from Best Buy end caps or iTunes, I would urge you to visit Atomic before they close. It is most definitely a righteous, little indie record store with an outstanding selection of vinyl and hard to find CDs. It seems like every time I visit Milwaukee, I inevitably end up in Atomic, walking out with the album I was looking for and a whole bunch of others I wasn't.
