Junk Money



According to this New York Times report, the rotten economy is to blame for a substantial decrease in the demand of recycled materials. Cardboard, newspaper, plastic and metals are piling up as consumers buy less product that would normally require these materials for parts or shipping. Storage of such materials comes at a cost. And with forecasters predicting a first quarter surge in consumers who've realized that their new Britney Spears and Guns 'N' Roses albums are complete shit, many facilities are scrambling to make room.
