The Heat Surge Roll-n-Glow Fireplace claims to spin miracle energy via good ol' fashioned Amish know how and old world craftsmanship. The assertion is more or less bogus. In order to save on energy costs you would have to keep your central heating unit's temperature at a cool 50 degrees and drag the Roll-n-Glow like a ball and chain into every room of the house you plan to occupy. The only people this product makes any sense for are for those with mobility restrictions or old widows with lots of cats. Considering the $400 price tag and operating costs, it would be cheaper for them to move to a warmer climate than buying what in essence is a glorified electric space heater.
