Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, paints a horrific economic forecast for his city that more than mirrors the national atmosphere. It breaks it. Warns Daley,
“Huge layoffs are coming in November and December. And next year, there’s going to be [even more] huge layoffs. All the corporation CEOs have come in to tell me. That’s just the beginning. It’s not their end result."
The story gets worse. But, have faith. Not everyone will be affected according to Daley. There is hope for some of us.
"Everybody’s in the same boat in this economy. No one is outside the boat — except the federal government. There’s no layoffs in the federal government. They print money.”
Oh, wait. Nevermind.
